A leisurely, intimate morning

Natasha and Robert

Off we were to the streets to enjoy a little bit of shopping for things to bring back home. We also managed to find a nice bakery where we treated ourselves to fresh baked pastries.

We took a ride in a horse-drawn carriage along St. Louis Street, through the Latin Quarter and many other charming streets. This was a romantic way to discover the city and take amazing pictures. We also enjoyed a quiet boat ride through the harbour to take in a panoramic view of the city.

We felt Québec City has so much to offer that you couldn’t possibly discover everything in just two days, yet still two days was sufficient enough to fall in love with this old, charming city.

Local wildlife

Natasha and Robert

Leaving Québec City for Montréal was bittersweet. It meant our Québec adventure was coming to an end. We were thankful to have been given such a marvellous opportunity to explore this delightful, fascinating city.

We stopped to grab a bite to eat at what appeared to be some sort of amusement site. There was a restaurant called “The Madrid Hotel”. On display were enormous types of dinosaurs, which we found fun—they inspired us to take some cheerful pictures!

Looking forward to our Québec honeymoon

Natasha and Robert

Needless to say, we’ve resolved to return to Québec for our honeymoon.

Every day here was packed with fun-filled and unforgettable activities. We really appreciated that for every activity we had a tour guide, waiting to inform us of the rich history Montréal and Québec City have to offer.

Our perception of Québec after this trip is that it is one of the most romantic getaway destinations imaginable, rich in history and tradition. The people of Québec are proud of their heritage, and for that they are to be praised. We truly have an appreciation for different cultures, but especially for those who hold steadfast to their origins.

Flying back home

Natasha and Robert

You don’t have to travel far to enjoy and appreciate other rich and diverse cultures. We’ve learned that sometimes the closest things to you are the most overlooked.
